Ms. Robinson, the principle attorney in the firm, is a graduate of the Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California at Berkeley, where she was an Associate Editor of the California Law Review. She represented such clients as the Cities of Oakland, Richmond and Hayward, Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corporation, New United Motor Manufacturing Company, Chevron and Pacific Gas and Electric Company. Ms. Robinson served as Executive Director and General Counsel of the Alameda County Bar Association ("ACBA") until she resumed practice as the Law Offices of Bari S. Robinson.

In addition, as Executive Director and General Counsel of the ACBA, Ms. Robinson was able to observe a vast array of Alameda County firms and the best of their legal practices in order to adapt her own firm to those practices. She has also worked extensively with other bar associations, including the American Bar Association and the local bars of the five Bay Area counties, as well as the Alameda and Contra Costa County judges and courts on administrative and policy matters connected with the courts and the practice of law. She thus has an overview of the practical and policy issues facing the courts and the legal system, in general.

The firm has represented such clients as the Cities of Oakland, Richmond and Hayward, Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corporation, New United Motor Manufacturing Company, Chevron Oil Company, and Pacific Gas and Electric Company. It has also served as counsel to large and small construction firms, owners, and design professionals.

Ms. Robinson has also served as Executive Director and General Counsel for the Alameda County Bar Association, which is a large non-profit public benefit corporation, in addition to being in private practice. In that position, Ms. Robinson was able to observe a vast array of law firms and the best of their legal practices in order to adapt her own firm to those practices. She also gained an overview of the practical and policy issues facing the courts and the legal system, in general. Through the expertise Ms. Robinson gained in that position, the firm has effectively counseled non-profits in their governance and day-to-day operations.
